Barbecue cook-off
The Elkmont Lions Club Smoking Railroad Street Barbeque Cook-Off, Shade Tree Division, will be held Saturday. Setups begin at 5 p.m. Friday. Kiddie Carnival fundraiser
The Athens Kiddie Carnival will be open from 3-6 p.m. Saturday for a special fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cure breast cancer awareness and research event.

Camp Hope Registration
Anyone wishing to register a child for Camp Hope needs to attend a short meeting at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hospice office at 405 S.
