Lady Colts, Ardmore win on opening day of county tournament

Kelsey Turner had three hits to lead Ardmore during their 3-0 win over Clements in the opening day of play in the Limestone County Softball Tournament.

Brittany Brown and Kelsey Gilbert had two hits apiece, followed by Allison Hodges with one. Gilbert, Callie Steadman and Samantha Taylor scored for Ardmore.

Summer Kirk had two hits for Clements. Callie Estes and Abby Sparks contributed one hit apiece.

Hanna Hebbe scored twice and had two hits and one RBI for the Lady Colts. Danielle Murphy scored once and added two hits and one RBI. Summer Kirk scored once and added one hit, followed by Estes and Callie Baker with a hit and one RBI each.

Hebbe went the distance for the win.
