In the week when the storied University of Alabama football program earned its 13th national championship, Keith Dunnavant launched a new online magazine to put all that history in perspective.

Dunnavant, the acclaimed author of five sports books, including “Coach: The Life of Paul “Bear” Bryant” and “The Missing Ring,” is the man behind CrimsonReplay.com, the Magazine of Alabama Football History.

CrimsonReplay.com, which launched Thursday, provides comprehensive coverage of the Crimson Tide’s rich football tradition.

“Our mission is to cover Alabama football history as a distinct beat,” said Dunnavant, an Alabama alumnus and former college football writer. “To illuminate the shadows with context, narrative sophistication, and an untrammeled passion for the game.”

The magazine includes written content, audio and video that updates monthly, as well as encyclopedic and interactive features.
