Ruby Humphrey McCurley, 77, of Tanner passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010.
Mrs. McCurley was a member of Greenbrier Baptist Church where she served as organist, pianist and teacher for many years.
She was born Jan. 31, 1932.
Survivors include daughter, Cheryl Phillips and husband Allen of Tanner; sister, Irene Emerson of Arab; brother, Richard P. Humphrey Jr. of Birmingham; grandchildren, Pennye Evans and husband Glenn of Tanner, and Keith Phillips of Madison; one niece and four nephews; stepsister, Martha Ann Gatlin of Athens and stepbrothers, Elmer Joe Murphy of Athens and Albert Murphy of Decatur.
Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greenbrier Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. D.A. Emerson and the Rev. Dr. Bill Boruff officiating. Burial will be in Madison City Cemetery. Laughlin Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.
