Laura Giovanna Reese of Athens and Brad Lawrence Bachelor of Athens were married in a 10 a.m. ceremony Aug. 31 at The American Church in Paris with Dr. Don Hamilton officiating. The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Betty Nails of Athens.

The groom is the son of Richard and Marilyn Bachelor of Hubbard Lake, Mich.

Those attending were the bride’s grandmother Marie Hill and the groom’s parents Richard and Marilyn Bachelor.

Music was provided by Fred Gramin. A reception followed at Clements Baptist Church when the couple returned home. Servers were Betty Nails, Teresa Browning and Marie Hill.

After a wedding trip to Paris, France, the couple returned home to Athens.
