Brunson-Kennedy

Christina Rae Brunson of Athens and Christopher Lynn Kennedy of Toney were married in a 4 p.m. ceremony June 6, 2009, at Copeland Presbyterian Church with Gary Enfinger officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John and Joan Brunson of Athens. Her grandparents are John and Barbara Brunson of Luverne, Clara Bass of Montgomery, and the late Ray D. Bass.

The groom is the son of Terry Kennedy of Toney and Belinda Kennedy of Huntsville. His grandparents are Don and Jan Kennedy of Toney, Damon and Marci Siniard of Mobile, and the late Harry Reeves Melson.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Susanna Pate. Bridal attendants were Libby Brunson, Jill Brunson, Mandy Kennedy, Megan White, Marché Scales, and Mary Margaret Ingalls. The flower girls were Nicole Kennedy and Mary Frances Welsch.

Terry Kennedy served as best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Bailes, Jeff Kennedy, Curtis Lewis, Nick Stephenson, Jake Kennedy, and Carson Kennedy. The ringbearer was Colin Kennedy.

Music was provided by George Anthony and Michelle Emens. The guest register was kept by Ashley Bailes and Leah Lewis.

A reception at Don and Jan Kennedy’s home followed the ceremony. Servers were Ana Franklin, Natalie Anderson, Claire Davis and Donna Davis.

After a wedding trip to Florida the couple returned home to Athens.
