Robin Philip Arnold and Jennifer Renee Yarbrough

Kevin and Renee Gould of Athens announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Renee Yarbrough of Huntsville to Robin Philip Arnold of Huntsville, son of Stephen and Susan Arnold of Huntsville.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of Freddie and Juanita Yarbrough of Ardmore. She is the granddaughter of Howard and Jean Vinson of Reform, Martha Yarbrough of Reform, Gerald and Virginia Gould of Athens, and the late J.D. Yarbrough.

She is a 2002 graduate of East Limestone High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of North Alabama, where she received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She also received a master’s degree in special education in 2008 from the University of South Alabama.

She is employed by the Madison County Board of Education as a gifted education teacher.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Helen Powell of Huntsville, Hasse and Evelyn Arnold of Winder, Ga., and the late Thomas Powell.

He is a 1998 graduate of Bob Jones High School and a 2003 graduate of Lambuth University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in physical education and human performance. He also received a teaching certificate in 2005 from Athens State University.

He is employed by the Madison County Board of Education as a physical education teacher.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 19, 2009, at First United Methodist Church in Huntsville.
