County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Timothy Allen Chandler, 40, of 12256 Lakeview St., Athens, sentenced to serve 90 days for driving under the influence

• Nancy Lillian Swearengin, 54, of 26440 Grady Lane, Ardmore, DUI and open container of alcohol



County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Friday.



City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Lance Chad Pepper, 36, of 21672 New Garden, Elkmont, DUI (drugs)

• Darance Lamar Cosby, 20, of 19860 Paris Lane, Athens, sentenced to serve 33 days or pay $501

• George Randall Piersol, 36, of 100 E. Sanderfer Road, Apt. 136, Athens, sentenced to serve 81 days or pay $1,214

• Melissa Marie Finney, 26, of 11568 Cowford Road, Athens, third-degree criminal trespass

• Samuel Roy Morris, 53, of 210 U.S. 31, Room 106, third-degree theft, third-degree attempted theft, failure to appear on second-degree theft and bond revoked on third-degree theft

• James Lenny Shaw, 48, of 817 Westmoreland Ave., Athens, third-degree domestic violence

• Timothy Allen Chandler, 40, of 12256 Lakeview St., Athens, sentence to 90 days for DUI



City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Four American V brand 17-inch tire rims, four Yokohama brand tires and a 12-inch speaker, total value $1,727, stolen between Sunday and Thursday from 313 W. Elm St.



Wrecks

• Keith Alan Fraze, 20, of Elkmont was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 1:11 p.m. Thursday on Jefferson Street at the intersection of Green and Washington streets, according to Athens Police. He was a passenger in one of the vehicles, police said.



Hospital report

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Friday.
