Homicides leave 3 dead in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Gun violence in Alabama’s capital city has left three dead in separate incidents.
Police said in a statement Wednesday 32-year-old Joel Warren of Montgomery was shot dead and another man was wounded early Wednesday at a local motel. A 38-year-old man was treated and released. No arrests were made.
19-year-old Carliff Hudson male was killed Tuesday night in a drive-by shooting at an apartment complex. Montgomery police said the shooter was identified but he remains at large.
In a third homicide, the U.S Marshals Service arrested 20-year-old Courtney Givan in Cincinnati, Ohio, in connection with Saturday’s shooting death of 22-year-old Jervarion Wright.
