Jamal Woods, 25, of Huntsville, who was convicted in February of the Dec. 17, 2006, murder of Tanqueray “Tank” Beavers, 21, of Athens and of his cousin, Thurston Turner, 27, who died nine days later of wounds suffered at Beavers’ side, will be sentenced in Madison County Circuit Court the week of June 8, according to a spokeswoman for the District Attorney’s office.
