The graveside service for Jerry McMurry, 73, of Guntersville will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Diamond Cemetery in Guntersville with the Rev. Terry Wood officiating. Visitation is 6-9 tonight at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville. Mr. McMurry died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at home.

Survivors include his wife, Judy McMurry of Guntersville; son, Russ McMurry and wife Lisa of Athens; daughter, Cynthia Porter and husband Pat of Huntsville; sister, Ann Cornelius and husband Paul of Huntsville; grandchildren, Colin McMurry, Cody Porter and Cole Porter.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Kist, David King, Joe Freeman, Walter Wood, Bill Cowen and Lee McBride.
