In September 2008, Todd and Jo Willis of Athens were chosen to be the subjects of one of the Do It Yourself network’s “Renovation Realities” shows.

A camera crew documented their effort to convert a bonus room attic area into a master suite in their1929 red brick home on Pryor Street, shown in the file photo above.

The couple will hold a viewing party Saturday at Village Pizza in Athens to watch their show, scheduled for 8 p.m. on the DIY network. The community is invited.

Locally, the DIY Network is on channel 230 on DirectTV and channel 151 on Charter Cable. PCL Cable does not carry the DIY Network.
