Realtors donating $35,000 for soldiers’ calls

FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) — The Alabama Association of Realtors is donating more than $35,000 to provide phone cards to soldiers.
Association President Sherry Dinges says the presentation will be made Friday at the group’s convention in Florence. The phone cards will go to the USO’s Operation Phone Home and will be used by soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
