County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Shanika Shantel Harris, 21, of 215 Sunset Drive, Athens, two counts of third-degree theft by deception
• Allison Brooke Kimbrough, 18, of 14133 Shaw Road, Apt. 8, Athens, second-degree forgery
• Ginger Kristin Lawrence, 28, of 1015 Highland St., Athens, probation revocation for negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Vanesser Littleton, 40, of 10325 Settle Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday and Tuesday:
• Two washers and dryers, Murray-brand lawn mower, go-kart, stove and refrigerator and miscellaneous scrap metal with a total value of $2,750 from the 19000 block of Alabama 127 on Thursday.
• iPod valued at $200 and a wallet containing a credit card taken during the breaking and entering of a 1995 Mercury van in the 13000 block of Fox Hollow Road on Friday or Saturday
• Trailer with a mounted 60-gallon sprayer and a Coleman-brand electric generator with a total value of $2,600 taken during a theft in the 23000 block of Flanagan Road between Aug. 17-24
• Bottle containing Lortab pills of undetermined value were stolen Monday during the breaking and entering of a vehicle in the 19000 block of East Limestone Road.
• Pit bull puppy valued at $100 stolen Sunday or Monday from 18000 block of Watson Road
• Digital camera and video camera, total value $520, stolen between March and Monday from 22000 block of Upper Fort Hampton Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Juan Carlos Paniagua, 31, of 210 Fifth Ave., Athens, third-degree criminal trespass
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Dell brand computer valued at $400 stolen between Friday and Monday from 113 Durham Drive
• Ralph Taylor Construction magnetic sign and $1,000 cash stolen between July 23 and Monday from 23999 U.S. 72 East in incident of theft by deception
• $14 in alcohol stolen Aug. 11 from 614 U.S. 31, Suite B, in theft of property
Wrecks
Two Athens residents were injured in a two-vehicle wreck at 6:35 p.m. Monday on Clinton Street in Athens, according to Athens Police Capt. Marty Bruce. Yamashita Patrice Mitchell, 19, and Jamie M. Boggs, 23, were treated at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported one admission and no discharges Tuesday.
Admitted was James Marlow of Elkmont.
