ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (AP) — A special education teacher is facing a second DUI charge — eight days after she was placed under arrest for a similar offense.
Albertville Police said 38-year-old Suzanne Michelle Johnson was arrested Saturday morning on U.S. 431 after she was involved in a minor traffic accident.
Johnson, a teacher at Big Spring Lake Kindergarten School, was also charged with DUI on Aug. 16 after police said she hit a utility pole in Albertville.
Albertville City Schools Superintendent Ric Ayer said he was aware of the arrest. He said school officials plan to monitor Johnson’s case in the court system.
