Traffic stop lands Georgia teen in jail

VALLEY, Ala. (AP) — A Georgia teenager is being held on felony drug charges in an east Alabama jail.

Valley Police said 19-year-old Lindsey Bailey of Stone Mountain was arrested Monday night during a traffic stop on Interstate 85 in Chambers County.

Police said they confiscated marijuana, a weapon and more than $142,000 in cash from a vehicle Bailey was driving. She was placed in the Chambers County Jail.
