Roma Dee Williams, 74, of Florence passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence. Officiating will be Charles Kretzer. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Florence Boulevard Church of Christ, a retired dental hygienist and a graduate of Mars Hill Bible School.

She is preceded in death by her parents, L.M. Fowler and Bertha Wallace Fowler, and a sister, “Lil” Ruth Fowler.

She is survived by her husband, W.C. Williams; her son, Terry Williams and wife Ginger; daughters, Sherry Richardson and husband Don, and Carrie Smith and husband Steve; grandchildren, Nicki Carson and husband Craig, Ben Morgan and wife Lyndsey, Adam Morgan, Lena Spivey, Kaitlin Smith, T.J. Williams and wife Bobbi, Jami Williams and Julie Holt; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Gray and husband Glen, and Norma Hallmark Dickens; brother, Larry Fowler and wife Carla.

Barney, her 5-year-old toy poodle, was very special to her and gave her lots of joy. She always called him, “my good ole boy.”

The family would like to thank Dr. Felix Morris and the nursing staff at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.
