Sister charged in brother’s murder

SHEFFIELD, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say an apparent dispute between siblings resulted in a fatal shooting at a residence in Sheffield.

Sheffield Police Chief Greg Ray said the 32-year-old man was shot by his sister early Thursday at about 1 a.m. He said Bryan Ray Campbell died at a local hospital.

Ray said officers arrested 27-year-old Brandi Lee Campbell Johnson and charged her with murder. Investigators are trying to sort out the sequence of events that led to the shooting.
