Harrison, Hawkins named All-State

Several local athletes recently were named to the Alabama Community College Conference All-League and All-State teams.
Natalie Harrison, a 2007 graduate of West Limestone High School and Haley Keenum, of Tanner, made first team all conference. Harrison and Whitney Hawkins of Athens, were first team All-State.
There are 22 junior college teams in the state.
Local athletes making the teams included Harrison, Tanner’s Haley and Hollye Keenum; West Limestone’s Ashley Blankenship; and Athens High School’s Amanda Rogers and Hawkins.
