Jake Beggs scored 17 points Tuesday as Clements knocked off No.-2 seed Elkmont in the quarterfinals of the 2008 Limestone County Tournament.

David Solomon led Elkmont with 12 points.

In girls action, No.-3 seed West Limestone held off East Limestone for a 52-42 victory.

Elizabeth Dison and Savanna Smith each scored 16 points for the Lady Wildcats.

In the final quarterfinal game, the Athens Bible School boys led Tanner for most of the game, but the Rattlers found their rhythm on offense and rallied to beat the Trojans 63-50.
