The funeral for Perry Lee Smith, 55, of Elkmont will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Sammy Brister officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, in Limestone County.

He was born Dec. 9, 1951, in Ponca City, Calif., to Raymond Glenn Smith and Helen Grace Fisher Smith. He lived in this area approximately eight years since coming from California. He was an Army veteran and an optical lab manager. He loved shooting firearms and was a history buff. He enjoyed his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Bobbie Anne Rabourn.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Parisi Smith of Elkmont; one son, Robert Rabourn of Modesto, Calif.; one daughter, Brandy Heddles of Elkmont; and seven grandchildren, two who are local, Lily and Logan.
