The funeral for David Manuel Xavier Shannon, 3 months, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with David Shelt officiating.

Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore.

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

David Manuel Xavier Shannon died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, in Athens. He was born July 29, 2007, in Pulaski, Tenn.

He is survived by his father, Manuel Martinez of Elkmont; his mother, Crystal Gail Shannon of Elkmont; grandparents, Jeff Shannon, Kenneth and Anna Holder, all of Elkmont, Esther Morris of Hazel Green; great-grandparents, W.O. Berryman of Rogersville and Harold Shelt of Toney; sisters, Harmony Whatley, Diamond Martinez and Harley Martinez, all of Elkmont; three aunts, five uncles and several cousins.
