A.C. Bailey
The funeral for A.C. Bailey, 83, of Athens will be 2 p.m. Monday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Sammy Brister and Dr. Jimmy Bassham officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Bailey died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007.
He held dual memberships in the Florence Masonic Lodge No. 14 and Athens Lodge No. 16 and served as past master of the Athens Lodge. He was a member of Eastern Star Athens Chapter 214 and a member of the Florence York Rite and Cahaba Shrine Temple. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Athens and the Athens-Limestone Hospital Auxiliary. He was preceded in death by his parents, Crutcher and Mamie Bailey, and one son, James Crutcher Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Robbie S. Bailey of Athens; one daughter, Gail Spurgeon and husband Waylon of Athens; two grandchildren, Dana Carroll and husband Doug of Tuscaloosa, and Leigh Peters and husband Herby of Antlers, Okla.; three great-grandchildren, Emily Carroll, Asher Peters and Cloie Peters; one sister, Betty Frahn and husband Bob of Jackson, Tenn.; an aunt, Mabel Hodges of Decatur; and several nieces and one nephew.
Masonic Lodge members will be pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.

Lois Lang
A memorial service for Lois Imogene “Jean” Robison Lang, 77, of Lakeland, Fla., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Tanner Church of Christ.
Mrs. Lang died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at her home. Central Florida Funeral Chapel of Lakeland was in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Lang was a former resident of Tanner and graduated from Tanner High School in 1948. She pursued a career in accounting and moved to Florida. She retired in 1995 and moved back to Tanner with her husband, Ken, but returned to Florida in April 2007 because of her health. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Lang, and her father, Leroy Robison.
Survivors include her mother, Mildred Robison of Tanner; a brother, Gerald Robison and wife Emilu of Monticello, Ga.; a sister, Betty Patterson and husband Pat of Opelika; two sons, Martin Phillips and wife Donna of Lakeland, Fla., and John Phillips of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Elaine Hauenstein of Marietta, Ga., and Lettye Baggett and husband Billy of Cocoa Beach; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of friends.

James Thomas Roberts
The funeral for James Thomas “Jack” Roberts, 91, of Elkmont will be 11 a.m. Monday at Spry Funeral Home with Steve Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Roberts died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at the home of his niece.
He was born Oct. 18, 1915, in Limestone County. He was a member of the Elkmont Church of Christ and a World World II Navy veteran. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal and an avid outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman and Floy Roberts; his wife, Lucille Young Roberts; one daughter, Loetta “Tinsy” Roberts; and one brother, Buck Roberts.
He is survived by four nieces, Pauline Wise of Athens, Jo Ann Neisz of Marion, Ill., Gwen Scott of Athens, and Cindy Wise of Elkmont; one nephew, Mike Wise of Elkmont; two great-nieces, Misty Holt of Athens and Tashina Wise of Elkmont; and two great-nephews, Cody Scott and Zac Wise, both of Elkmont.
Pallbearers will be Zac Wise, Cody Scott, Wade Bates, Jim Hughes, Rusty Beddingfield and Sam McMeans.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
Judy Dean Rochell
Graveside service for Judy Dean Rochell, 60, of Elkmont, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Pettusville Cemetery with Jeremy Harbin officiating and Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rochell died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Irene Harbin.
Survivors include her husband, Winston Rochell of Elkmont; one son, Timothy Rochell and wife Lorie of Elkmont; two grandchildren, Casie and Carrie Rochell, both of Elkmont; and one brother, Tom Harbin and wife Margaret of Elkmont.
Pallbearers will be Joe Bates, Chris Sharp, Bruce Menefee, Richard Harbin, Larry Harbin and Jamie Hobbs.
Donald Thomas II
The funeral for Donald Marvin Thomas II, 68, of Elkmont will be 8 p.m. Monday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Leamuel Green and Luther Dugger officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until time for the service Monday.
Mr. Thomas died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at his home.
He was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Thomas of Elkmont; two sons, Donald Thomas III of Athens and David Thomas and wife Vicky of Athens; one step-son, James Wilson and wife Jennie of Elkmont; four grandchildren, Briana and Kensley Thomas and Lily and Carry Rosick; and one step-grandchild, Kaleigh Price.

Doris White
Funeral arrangements for Doris Virginia White, 75, of Ardmore, Tenn., will be announced by Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home.
Ms. White died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, in Toney.
