The funeral for Lynda Reeves Evans, 60, of Anderson will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with Scott Moore officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Evans died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at home.

She was born Dec. 24, 1946, in Limestone County. She was a retired mail carrier for Lester Post Office and a member of First Baptist Church of Rogersville. She was loved by family.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Evans Sr. of Anderson; one daughter, Paula Phillips and husband James of Athens; one son, Benny Evans and fiancé Dawn Waller of Anderson; six grandchildren, Jamie Phillips, BreAnna Phillips, Sarah Evans, Trey Evans, Adam Moffatt and Benjamin Waller; three aunts, Evelyn Craig and husband Charlie, and Irene Bland, all of Columbia, Tenn., and Minnie Ruth Robinson of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
