Sonja Carolyn Goode
The funeral for Sonja Carolyn Goode, 68, of Toney will be 1 p.m. today at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Sammy Brister officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Mrs. Goode died Saturday, May 19, 2007, at her home.
George A. Hamby
The graveside service for George A. Hamby, 67, of Ardmore, Tenn., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont with the Rev. Brent Hawkins officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Hamby died Monday, May 21, 2007, in Huntsville Hospital.
Martha Lewter Lane
A memorial service for Martha Lewter Lane, 76, of Franklin, Tenn., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Sammy Brister and the Rev. Debbie Eubanks officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lane died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at West Harpeth Terrace Convalescent Center in Franklin, Tenn.
John Leopard
The funeral for John Leopard, 75, of Athens will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Jody Hooven officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Leopard died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. He was also a purchasing agent for a government contractor. He retired from UNISYS of Huntsville. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a volunteer for Hospice.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Leopard of Athens; two daughters, Cindy Haney of Athens and Tracy Leopard of Midland, Ga.; one son, Mike Leopard of Gurley; one brother, Ernest Leopard of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Jessica Haney and Mallory Haney.
Pallbearers will be Brian Haney, Nathan Leopard, David Evans, John Babb, Bill Nelson and Jimmy Lea.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
