Leslie Ross Jenkins

Leslie Ross Jenkins, 58, of Athens, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at her residence. Arrangements will be announced at a later date by Spry Funeral Home.



Doris Leanne Rucker

Doris Leanne Rucker, 29, of New Hope, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Huntsville Hospital. Arrangements will be announced at a later date by Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.



William Glen Russell

The funeral for William Glen Russell, 43, of Athens, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ripley Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Russell died Monday, April 2, 2007 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.







Joseph Winford Warren

Joseph Winford Warren, 84, died peacefully at his home on Elk River on Saturday, March 31, 2007.

He was born in Elkmont, Ala., and will be buried in Russellville, Ala.

Mr. Warren was an Army veteran of 25 years, having proudly served in both World War II and the Korean conflict. He retired from Eaton Corp. in 1988 and was a 32-degree Mason.

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Hester Warren; a daughter, Ava Warren and husband, Thomas Garrett Lesniak; sons, Joseph Winford Warren Jr. and wife, Laura Simmons Warren, and Daniel Hester Warren; three grandsons, Joseph Winford Warren III, John Pearson Warren and Winford Daniel Warren.

Mr. Warren is also survived by a brother, Cecil Vaughn Warren, and a sister, Doris Warren French.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Salvation Army or Hospice of Tennessee Valley.

A private memorial service is planned for later this week. The family will receive friends in their home from 3-5 p.m. today.
