Daisy Marie Long

The funeral for Daisy Marie Long, 87, of Elkmont, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Harland Hood and Doug McCurry officiating.

Burial will be in Hester Cemetery at Lester

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Long died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, at home.

She was born Dec. 30, 1918, in Giles County, Tenn., to Alex Kelley and Callie Monroe Kelley. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Long, four sons, two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Survivors include four sons, Charles Allen Long, Billie Gene Long and O’Neal Long, all of Athens, David Long of Elkmont and M.F. Long of Lester; four daughters, Connie Ball, Evelyn Siniard and Lounette Wilson, all of Athens, and Nella Faye Harrison of Elkmont; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in- law, Mable McCurry of Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Michael Harrison, Steven Harrison, Keith Defoe, Bradley Long and Jason McMahan.



William K. Rolin

The funeral for William Kenneth Rolin, 66, of Ardmore, Tenn., will be at 1 p.m. today at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Derrick Moose officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Rolin died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville.

He was born July 17, 1940, in Ardmore, Tenn., to Eddie Martin and Ruby Dean Weece Rolin. He lived in this area all of his life and was a member of the Cash Point Baptist Church. Mr. Rolin and his wife LaDeva were the owners of several businesses during their life together, a mini-mart, boot store, restaurant and an antique mall. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ken Rolin.

Survivors include his wife, Ladeva Rolin of Ardmore, Tenn.; a daughter, Tina Green and husband Stoney of Ardmore, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Davis, Tommy Campbell, Jerry Smith, Gurmej Singh, Tim Rolin and Rocky Green.



Helen Elizabeth Steppe

The funeral for Helen Elizabeth Steppe, 83, of Ardmore, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. There are no services planned at this time.
