A 17-year-old Huntsville boy, who was one of three teens arrested the night of Nov. 6 inside the old Jackson Memorial Hospital at Lester, has been certified to stand trial as an adult.

The teen has also been indicted by a Limestone County grand jury on charges of rape and sodomy.

Records show that a trial date for Nathaniel James Harrison, of 4515-A Patton Road, has not yet been set.

Harrison was indicted by the grand jury in July. He is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl by force in December of last year. He was also arrested earlier, accused of sexually abusing a 10-year-old boy. In both cases, he is charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.

Law states that a person who is over the age of 16 can be classified as an adult if the offense committed is a Class A felony.

Harrison and two others, Jeremy Wade Roberts, 18, and Shawn Christian Watson, 19, both of Patton Road, Huntsville, were arrested by county deputies inside the old hospital at Lester. The three were charged with that burglary and break-ins at the West Limestone softball and baseball parks and at the old Trinity High School.

At the time of their arrests, deputies said the teenagers told them they went inside the old hospital and school because they had heard both facilities were haunted and they wanted to see for themselves.
