Pinque scores 5 TDs to guide East to 48-21 win

TRINITY – East Limestone rolled up 601 yards of total offense and 505 yards on the ground as the Indians knocked off West Morgan 48-28 Thursday night.
East Limestone running back Jonathan Pinque had a career night, accumulating 193 rushing yards and scoring five touchdowns.
The Indians got on the scoreboard early when Pinque scored on a 24-yard run. Gil Johnson made the extra point.
West Morgan struck back when Josh McAbee scored on 2-yard run. The Rebels made the extra point.
Pinque found the end zone again midway through the first quarter, scoring on a 27-yard run. Johnson made the extra point.
The Rebels tied the score at 14-14 late in the first quarter when Tommy Tucker ran seven yards for a touchdown.
Klint Kali gave East Limestone a seven-point lead at the end of the first quarter when he scored on a 4-yard run.
Pinque scored his third touchdown of the night ona 5-yard run early in the second quarter. On the ensuing kickoff, Terrance Carter returned the kick 98 yards for a touchdown.
East Limestone scored on a Pinque 8-yard run and a 14-yard pass from Chad Dewitt to Marvin Baker for a 41-21 halftime lead.
Pinque scored his last touchdown of the game on 7-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Dewitt finished the night with 140 yards rushing. LaGarius Mayberry had 75 yards on six carries and O’Neal King finished with 51 yards on two carries.
