A.C. Brown
The funeral for A.C. Brown, 84, of Athens, will be at 10 a.m. today at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Marshall Norman and Wayne Kent officiating. Burial will be in New Grove Cemetery in Blanche, Tenn.
Mr. Brown died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006.
Marie Louise Chavanne
A memorial service for Marie Louise Chavanne, 86, of St. Nizier-sous-Charlieu, France, will be held in the park at the Elkmont Rural Village today near the same time as her services in St. Nizier-sous-Charlieu.
Mrs. Chavanne died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, in St. Nizier-sous-Charlieu, France.
She was born Jan. 29, 1920.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henri Chavanne and one son, Paul Chavanne. She is survived by two sons, Jean Pierre Chavanne of Elkmont and Claude Chavanne of Belfort, France; two daughters, Marie Odette Grillo of St. Nizier-sous-Charlieu and Andree Despierres of Nandax, France; seven grandchildren, Christopher Chavanne of Nashville, Tenn., Stephanie Chavanne and Nicholas Chavanne of Belfort, Laetitia Grillo and Benjamin Grillo of St. Nizier-sous-Charlieu, Isabel Despierres, AnneLaure Despierres, Emily Despierres and Marine Despierres of Nandax.
Barry Terrell Griffith
A graveside service for Barry Terrell Griffith, 38, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Thatch-Mann Cemetery with the Rev. Willie Byrd officiating. Viewing will be from noon until 9 p.m. today at Royal Funeral Home, Inc., at 4315 Oakwood Avenue, Huntsville.
Survivors include his wife, Monica Griffith; two sons, DeAnte` Griffith and Xavier Griffith; parents, George and Edith Griffith; one sister, Lychelle Wiley and one brother, Jeffery Griffith, all of Athens; grandparents, Thatch Griffith of Tanner and Mr. and Mrs. Azell Truett of Nashville, Tenn.
He was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by Nucor Steel of Decatur. He served as a youth basketball coach for Creekside Saturday Morning League.
Sonya Michelle McAnally
The funeral for Sonya Michelle McAnally, 33, of Ardmore, Tenn., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Anthony Ford officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Ms. McAnally died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center.
