Elkmont defeats Clements on the road

CLEMENTS – Elkmont swept two games from Clements to win a road match Monday afternoon.

The Red Devils won with scores of 25-19 and 25-23.

Emily Sutton led Elkmont with eight aces and nine digs, while Bailee Robinson had eight digs.

Jamie Lack recorded seven kills and 12 blocks, Brooke Pressnell had seven assists and eight digs, Michelle Tucker had three kills and two blocks, Kristen Murray had four kills and Ashley Roberson had 10 digs in the win for Elkmont.



Elkmont defeats Tanner

Elkmont swept two games from Tanner with scores of 25-5 and 25-23.

Sutton led the Red Devils with eight aces. Lack recorded five kills, two assists and two blocks.

Robinson had three digs and three kills, Murray had five kills, Pressnell had two aces and two digs, Tucker had three kills, JoBeth Black had two kills and Candace Biggerstaff had a kill for Elkmont in the win.

Athens Bible defeats Athens

Athens Bible beat Athens in two games with scores of 25-14 and 25-19.

The Trojans took two games from Westminster Christian with scores of 25-9 and 25-12.

Kirsten McClure led Athens Bible with 37 assists on the day.

Abbie Melvin recorded 18 kills and six aces for the Trojans.

Hannah Owen had four aces and six kills, Christina Ivey had 12 kills and Emily Cathey had eight kills in the two wins for Athens Bible.

The Trojans host Elkmont today at 4 p.m.
