Still no leads in bank robbery

It has been almost four months since a masked man walked into First American Bank in East Limestone, pulled a gun and robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of money.
Since then, there have been few leads into who might have committed the crime.
“We still don’t have anything, no leads, no nothing,” said Limestone County Chief Investigator Capt. Stanley McNatt. “They had a robbery the other day in Huntsville by a lone robber that we had hoped might be connected. But we have nothing to go on there, as yet.”
The robbery at East Limestone occurred late in the day on June 2.
The Sheriff’s Department released a still photograph of the robber taken from a bank surveillance camera.
Authorities are looking for a slim, white male about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was wearing Khaki-colored, short-sleeve coveralls, a dark bandana, black gloves, dark sunglasses and a fishing-type hat. He had a chrome colored, semi-automatic handgun.
The robber was last seen leaving the bank and walking east toward a nearby parking lot. A dark colored suburban-type vehicle was seen leaving the parking lot at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was headed east on Capshaw Road.
A reward is being offered for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the robber.
