The News Courier will publish, free of charge, death notices including the name, age and city of residence of the deceased, date and place of death, and time and place of funeral service and visitation. Family members may express themselves in a eulogy, list survivors and give detailed biographical information about the deceased in a paid obituary. The News Courier will accept these paid items from the family, funeral directors or other individuals. Paid obituaries may include a photo at no extra charge. Randall Scott McMunn

Randall Scott McMunn, 46, of Athens, died Aug. 30, 2006, at home. No service is planned.



Thora Lee Bailes Rainey

Graveside service for Thora Lee Bailes Rainey, 99, of East College St., Pulaski, Tenn., will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Elkton Cemetery in Elkton, Tenn., with the Rev. John C. Ives officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in Ardmore, Ala.

Mrs. Rainey died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at NHC Nursing Home in Pulaski.
