Larry Keith Goff

The funeral for Larry Keith Goff, 64, of Athens, will be at 2 p.m. today at McConnell Funeral Home with Tim Keenum and Calvin Inman officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Goff died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital.

He was born Sept. 24, 1941, in Limestone County to Jessie Leon Goff and Anne Lexie Smith Goff. He was retired from John Blue Company in Huntsville after 42 years of service. He served six years in the Army National Guard’s 1343rd Engineering Battalion. He loved to fish and was an avid Nascar fan. He loved his family and gave his soul to Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob Goff and one sister, Margaret Bailey.

He is survived by his wife Melynda Carter Goff of Athens; one daughter, Katrina Goff King and husband Ritchie of Athens; one granddaughter, Olivia “Livi” King and one brother, Dillard Goff and wife Reba of Athens.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Sharp, Norris Sharp, Robert Perry, Jackie Perry, Jimmy Garrett and Johnny Ray Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen King, W.L. Duke and Roy Smith.



Quinton Marvis Guin

A graveside service for Quinton Marvis Guin, 81, of Taft, Tenn., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blanche Cemetery in Blanche, Tenn.

Mr. Guin died Wednesday, Aug, 24, 2006, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.



William Harry Overmyer

A graveside service for William Harry Overmyer, 76, of Athens, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at Johnson Cemetery with Doug Colwell officiating. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mr. Overmyer died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at his home.
