On Monday, the City of Athens will begin paving Jefferson Street in Athens.

The affected area will be between Elm Street and Hobbs Street.

Estimated day of completion is Wednesday.

Motorists should plan for delays as the improvements are made in this area.

Also Monday, beginning at 8 a.m., Bolyn Street in Athens will be closed between Freeman Drive and Aster Street to replace tile that crosses under the street, city officials said.
