Barbara Ann Harwell
The funeral for Barbara Ann Harwell, 63, of Ardmore, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in Pulaski, Tenn., with Sammy Brister and William Suddarth officiating.
The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harwell died Wednesday at her home.
Kenneth Boyd Hodges
The funeral for Kenneth Boyd Hodges, 64, of Elkmont, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Witty officiating. Burial will be in Sylone Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Hodges died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, in Elkmont.
He was born Dec. 12, 1941 in Limestone County to Elton Elbert Hodges and Evvie Mae Boyd Hodges. He lived all his life in the Ardmore-Elkmont area. He was a member of Holland’s Gin Church of Christ.
Mr. Hodges was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Glenn Hodges.
He is survived by a son, Stanley Hodges of Huntsville; a daughter, Annie Hodges Ullery of Falkville; a brother, Marion Hodges of Athens; a sister, Doris Harper of Martin, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, Braeden Hodges, Nikki Hodges, Daniel Ullery, Meggan Ullery and Colby Ullery.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Clem, Roger Hodges, Danny Holland, Mike Hodges, Daniel Ullery and Steve Garner. Honorary pallbearers will be Braeden Hodges and Colby Ullery.
Charles Edward King
Charles Edward King, 58, of Harvest passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at a local hospital. Mr. King was a member of Sweet Springs Baptist Church. He was also a United States Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy King; son Greg King; grandchildren Zac and Jake King; four brothers, Joe King, Roger King, Jerry King, Stanley King; and two sisters, Nita Hobbs and Rita Blevins.
Mr. King was born Jan. 21, 1948.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home in Huntsville with Brother Ray Pettit and Brother Joel Logan officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Thomas Edgar Wigginton
A graveside service for Thomas Edgar Wigginton, 65, of Athens, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bottoms Cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Wigginton died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, in Limestone County.
He was a longtime employee of Burgreen Contracting Co. and was retired from Limestone Farmers Co-op. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mae Wigginton, a brother, Douglas Wigginton, and a son, Tracy Wigginton.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Wigginton of Athens; four daughters, Alicia Chunn of Toney, Larissa Hall and husband, Steve, of Ardmore, Cheryl Craig of Athens, and Jodi Whitt and husband, Bryan, of Athens; three sons, Eric Vinson of Minor Hill, Tenn., Chris Vinson of Athens, and Tommy Wigginton of Gurley; one sister, Judy Cook of Toney; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Hall, Barry Craig, Justin Harvey, Johnny Cook, Jack Torbert and Mike Griffin.
