Christian Fernald had a goal and an assist, Friday to lead the East Limestone boys’ soccer team to a 2-1 win over Athens Bible School.

Danny Boersma assisted on Fernald’s first-half goal, which gave East a 1-0 lead. Fernald came back with a pass to set up a goal by Brent Morgan.

Isaac Munoz had the lone goal for the Trojans.

All the scoring took place in the first half.

The Indians outshot the Trojans 27-12 and had seven corner kicks to three by ABBs.

Matt Keown had three saves in goal for East Limestone, while freshman Corey Woods stepped up to play a strong game at sweeper.

Colby Phillips and Micah Clem stood out for the Trojans.
