Weldon Clayton Ables
The funeral for Weldon Clayton Ables, 73, of Flintville, Tenn., will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Jerry Hovis officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Ables died Friday, April 7, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital.
Eunice Dugger Clutts
The funeral for Eunice Dugger Clutts, 78, of Athens, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Spry Funeral Home with Guy McDaniel and Doug Mattlock officiating. Burial will be in Oneal Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clutts died Saturday, April 8, 2006, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
She was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Limestone County. She was a member of the Oneal Church of Christ and a retired nurse from Athens-Limestone Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Willis Clutts of Athens; two sons, Steve Clutts and his wife, Wanda, and Mark Clutts, all of Athens; and two grandsons, Will Clutts and Greg Clutts, both of Athens.
Estelle Minatree
The funeral for Estelle Minatree, 68, of Ardmore, Tenn., will be today at 4:30 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Rayburn and the Rev. Anthony Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont.
Mrs. Minatree died Friday, April 7, 2006, at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski, Tenn.
Connie Sue Perry
A graveside service for Connie Sue Perry, 45, of Athens, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Kenneth Graham officiating and Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be 6-9 tonight at Limestone Chapel.
Ms. Perry died Friday, April 7, 2006, in Huntsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vester and Elsie Garrison; one sister, Delorse Broadway; and one brother, Gerald Garrison.
She is survived by her life partner, Ronnie Thompson of Athens; two daughters, Jennifer Perry Houston and husband Zach, and Laura Perry and fiancé Josh Kennedy, all of Athens; one grandchild, Macey Houston; one step granddaughter, Haley Houston; a brother, Kenneth Garrison; and three nieces, Vicky Marbery, Heather Baker and Tavi Garrison.
Connie was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was the love of Ronnie’s life. She always wanted to help others, no matter the circumstances. She loved her family and friends dearly. She will be greatly missed by all.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Morgan, Lynn Miller, Chuck Tuck, Ken Graham, Richard Hall and Charlie Caton.
Lawrence ‘Larry’ Robinson
A graveside service with U.S. Navy military honors for Lawrence Roosevelt “Larry” Robinson, 68, of Bay Minette, will be at 3 p.m. today at Pine Grove Cemetery, with Norris Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Robinson died Friday, April 7, 2006, at his residence.
He was born in Pensacola, Fla., to Lucian R. and Flossie Mae Robinson and served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Rebecca Medows, and a brother, James Robinson.
Survivors include one son, Robert David Robinson of Bay Minette; one daughter, Dawn Kathalene Conway and husband, Pete, of Athens; four grandchildren, Deshae Robinson of Magnolia Springs, Daniel Robinson of Prattville, and Kaitlin Conway and Rebecca Conway, both of Athens; five sisters, Sarah Mathis, Marsha Wesson and husband, Joe; Charlotte Donaldson and husband, Wayne, and Nan Harvey, all of Pensacola, and Barbara Dansby of Slidell, La.; four brothers, Patrick Robinson and Michael Robinson, both of Pensacola, Ed Robinson and wife, Barbara, of Lancaster, Calif., and Richard Robinson and wife, Norma, of Perkinston, Miss.; and many nieces and nephews.

Mabel ‘Sissy’ Sandlin
The funeral for Mabel Jones “Sissy” Sandlin, 97, of Athens will be Monday at noon at Spry Funeral Home with Don Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 10 a.m. until time for the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sandlin died Friday, April 7, 2006, at Limestone Health Facility.
She was born Nov. 4, 1908, in Limestone County. She was a member of Market Street Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Mrs. Sandlin was preceded in death by her husband, former Limestone County Sheriff John G. Sandlin; a daughter, Nancy Barley; a granddaughter, Nancy Susan Bailey; five brothers, Hollis Leon Jones, Joseph Gilbert Jones, James Washington Jones, Alonzo Huber Jones Jr., and Charles E. Jones; and one sister, Valeria Jones Giese.
Survivors include two grandsons, Billy Ray Barley Jr. of St. Augustine, Fla., and Johnny Edward Barley of Tennessee; eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; six nephews and four nieces.
Pallbearers will be Clint Barley, Brett Barley, Justin Barley, Brandon Bailey and Blake Bailey.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
Freda Gail Wallace
The funeral for Freda Gail Wallace, 44, of Elkmont, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Ben Johnson and Ray Lewis officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wallace died Friday, April 7, 2006.
She was born May 19, 1961 in Limestone County to James Edward Lewter and Vera Worley Lewter. She was an employee of Wal-Mart for the past three years.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Wallace of Elkmont; two sons, David Wallace and Eric Wallace, both of Elkmont; one brother, William Lewter of Athens; five sisters, Nancy Elrod, WillaMay Wilson, Annie Clifton all of Athens, Pauline Brady of Elkmont, and Faye Burns of Lineville, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Wallace, Mickey Wallace, Donald Sanders, Josh Clifton, Danny Gee and Ray Knox.
