Legion stew

Blood drive
A United Way Day of Caring blood drive will be held Wednesday at Calhoun Community College. Times and locations are: 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at the Robert Chasteen Student Building, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Health Science Building, Room 143. Donors receive T-shirt or coupon for a free round of golf at any Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail course (Lakewood and Ross Bridge excluded).

Security seminar
Superior Bank will present a security seminar at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Athens Senior Center. Larry Meredith, director of corporate security, will be the presenter and will address scams and will answer questions.
