— Alicia Comarotti puts the finishing touches on a Salvation Army Angel Tree at the Champion Chrysler Dodge on South Clinton Street Thursday. Comarotti, an inventory manager for Champion, spent about four hours trimming the 8-foot tree with lights, bright blue ornaments and more than 25 paper angels. The public is invited to adopt an angel, each of which contains gift guidelines for a young child in need.

The second-annual Col. Sam Gibbons Memorial Walking Horse Show will be at 6 p.m. Friday, June 21, at the Limestone County Sheriff’s Arena off Alabama 99. Tickets are $5 at the gate.
