Champion Powersports in Athens recently joined a nationwide dealer network offering the Polaris GEM, a premium line of electric vehicles. With the addition of Polaris GEM vehicles to its stable of products, Champion Powersports is providing businesses in North Alabama with a versatile solution to move people, cargo, and complete essential tasks. Champion Powersports plans to aggressively market the new product to local commercial and industrial related industries such as the city of Athens, TVA, Steelcase, Federal Mogul, Athens State University, Calhoun Community College, Redstone Arsenal, Research Park, NASA and more.
The GEM lineup offers six models for transportation and utility use. The electric vehicles are fully customizable with suggested retail prices ranging from $7,829-$13,459.
