In the past 18 months, Athens-Limestone Hospital has revamped its emergency room, mother-baby unit, gift shop and cafeteria, increased security, added new equipment and expanded Waddell Center Family Medicine.
On tap for this year is an ambitious slate of projects, including finalizing a new strategic plan, remodeling patient rooms and improving the admissions area.
Other plans call for building a new parking lot and professional office building, adding a pain management clinic and installing a Long-Term Acute Care hospital.
