The Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster annual Be Ready Day is scheduled for 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at the Limestone Event Center. A free lunch will be provided.
All first responder groups are being asked to participate. VOAD officials are also urging the public to stop by the event to learn about disaster preparedness, and become more familiar with the various groups who respond when disaster strikes.
