— Dressed in period attire, Charles Kilpatrick and Sandra Holland will be among those telling tales as part of the annual Athens Cemetery Walk, which will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The event, hosted by the Athens-Limestone County Tourism Association and the Hobbs Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, will feature 36 actors portraying people buried in the cemetery. Most will be stationed at the graveside of the character they portray. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted and are appreciated. All donations go toward the repair and preservation of the cemetery. For more information about the tour, contact Buzz Estes at 256-232-2327 or email buzz@pclnet.net.
