Carla McLemore and Seth Lawrence, both of Athens, were married in a 5 p.m. ceremony June 4 at Madelyn's in the Grove with Pat Lawrence officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Carl and Elmina McLemore of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Alvis and Ann McLemore of Athens and the late Walter and Alice Aucoin.
The groom is the son of Pat and Becky Lawrence of Athens. He is the grandson of John and Betty Norman, both of Athens, and the late Janice Goode.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maegan McLemore served as maid of honor.
Bridal attendants were Alisha Crossley, Celeste Coffman, Beth McElyea, Amy Wallace, Hannah Lawrence, Hannah Turner, Madeline Aucoin, Emily Aucoin, and Denise Landrith. The flower girls were Cynthia and Amy Grace Norman.
Waylon Norman served as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Jacoby, Aaron Cottles, Chad Farmer and Jordan Cantrell.
The guest register was kept by Anna Clem.
A reception followed the ceremony at Madelyn's in the Grove.
After a wedding trip to Seaside, Fla., the couple returned home to Athens.
