Karen Hope Norwood of Athens and Robert Miles Cowher of Huntsville were married in a noon ceremony June 11 at First Baptist Church of Athens with Dr. Edwin Jenkins officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Joel and Dona Norwood. She is the granddaughter of Freda Pankey of Athens and the late Lewis Pankey and Lilburn and Ruby Norwood.
The groom is the son of Mark and Camille Watson of Ardmore. He is the grandson of Bob and Diane Cowher of Ardmore.
A reception was held at the bride’s parents’ home the evening of the wedding.
