BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say a teenager is recovering after being shot Tuesday following an altercation that started when she got off of a school bus.
Birmingham police spokesman Johnny Williams Jr. says the girl was taken to UAB Hospital suffering unspecified wounds.
It happened on Vanderbilt Street.
Witnesses say the shooting happened after the girl got off the bus and an altercation erupted.
Police haven’t made any arrests yet.
