WILSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) — The cause of death for a man and woman who were found in a Wilsonville mobile home has been determined.
Shelby County Coroner Diana Steele Hawkins said the couple, who were found last week, died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Shelby County sheriffs deputies discovered the bodies of 40-year-old George Garner and 35-year-old Michelle Phillips on Dec. 14.
Hawkins tells the Birmingham News that the carbon monoxide came from a generator used to heat the trailer, which did not have electricity.
Their deaths have been ruled accidental.
