DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) — A four-wheeler crash in Geneva County killed a Dothan firefighter and injured another man.
The Dothan Eagle reports that officials identify the firefighter killed Wednesday as 24-year-old Mason Joel Walding of Hartford.
Dothan Fire Chief Larry Williams said Walding had served as a firefighter in Dothan for more than two years.
Authorities say an initial investigation indicates that Walding lost control and crashed in a field.
Walding was pronounced dead at the scene by Geneva County Coroner Max Motley.
