TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a pair of brothers in Tuscaloosa on federal charges related to a string of convenience store armed robberies.
The Tuscaloosa News reports (http://bit.ly/IUNPw3 ) that 20-year-old Kesharn Battle and 18-year-old Trevon Battle were indicted last week and were arrested Monday at their home.
Authorities say his brother joined him for one of those robberies in Moundville.
Authorities said other people were involved in more than one of the robberies, but no additional arrests or indictments were announced.
Detention hearings for both men are scheduled Thursday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul W. Greene.
